Love in the Hood was founded in 2019 by a small group of passionate neighbours who saw real need around them — hungry children, idle youth, and families without support. What started as weekend food drives quickly grew into a fully-fledged organisation with structured programmes and a growing team of dedicated volunteers.
Over the years, we have touched thousands of lives across our community. Our work is not driven by politics or profit — it is driven purely by love and the belief that every person in our neighbourhood deserves a fair chance at a better life.
Today, Love in the Hood runs four major programmes, partners with local businesses and government bodies, and continues to expand its reach one life at a time.
